On October 14, 2024, the Special Education Department held a successful professional development session where our CST Team participated in Handle with Care Verbal De-Escalation Training. Led by Mr. Ortiz, Ms. McClaren, and Ms. Trusty, the training focused on equipping educators with essential skills to effectively manage challenging behaviors and foster a safe, supportive environment for all students.
The team's engagement and commitment to learning were truly inspiring, and we are so proud of the work being done to make our schools a safer place for everyone!
